My little baby,

I'm scared. I dont live in fear any longer, but I seem to live in a reality thats as if I'm looking into a wound, straight in and I see the bone. I realize how much work it will take to "fix" it. I realize its not the best situation to be in. It's do-able, but it wont always be joyful.

I have such mixed emotions sometimes.

I do love you. I just wish I could speed up time til I'd graduated, made more money, and had a home to be happy and proud of. Youre hanging on so tightly, and sometimes I dont understand why. This world isnt all that great, 100% of the time.

A fetus!

We are 9 weeks today which puts you at being a fetus. :)

I'm still experiencing morning sickness, but mainly only on an empty stomach (morning and mid-afternoon).

I've asked your dad to get up and make us some pancakes, I was dreaming about them last night. :)

mmmmmm, mmmmm good!

I love you!!!

Day 45

Your eyes are developed!!!!!

Wow. How big you are! I seriously cant believe I'm almost 9 weeks pregnant. :) Wow.

I was actually feeling well enough to clean the house. Not too much, but the kitchen and the floors. It feels good to have a clean home. :)

School has started and it will require a great deal of work. Grow big!!!

I think I might have a sinus infection. I'm heading to the dr. to see.

I went and got an antibiotic for my sinus issues. I'm in some pain. I really hope this helps with my overall feeling of blah.

*belch* The heartburn is starting. :)

Day 42...

Day 42:
The earliest marks of brainwaves appear today!

Wow, so youre actually thinking??? Well, maybe not thinking like I'm thinking of you, but being stimulated is probably the best way to look at it.

Alright, so youre moving now, urinating, and your brain is growing!!!! Good deal, baby, good deal. :)

Oh my beautiful baby!

I feel better today. I havent thrown up all day! I know, I'm very excited as well about it. :)

Your daddy is spraying the bird with water at the moment. They are both crazy!!!!!

I felt so good this evening, we went out and had some Mexican food. Mmm, mmm, good. :)

I love you...

You are moving!

So, I keep up with daily calendars on your grow and one of them says that youre moving now. :)

How wonderful!!!!

Also, I think I have preggo allergies. I'm sneezing all over the place, but I dont feel as if I have a cold. I dont want to have a cold. I dont want anything to hurt you.

While we were on the playground today I saw two little kids, a boy and girl, who I think you'll look like. :) The boy was adorable and looked like your daddy. The other was a boy as well, but I thought thats how you'd look if you are a girl...not too atttractive. :) Dont worry, its not an insult, I usually dont have pretty babies...they are unique.

However, they do turn into very handsome/beautiful people. :)

I've known about this pregnancy for 3 1/2 weeks now and it feels like forever. :) I love you. Yes, I'm still worried about financies, but I so love you, I wouldnt want anything to be different.

*hugs and kisses* lets go take a bath!

Oh, my little baby

My belly is sooooo upset. I feel as if I'm knocking on death's door.

Ohhhhhh, grow big little one, grow big. I know this feeling shall pass, it has to. Ohhh, I feel as if you will be my last baby, I seriously dont want to go through this again.

I know, why am I complaining to you, little one?

I'm gonna eat these tums and see if they help. *wishes I could hold you* I promise, on the day of your birth, I'm tell ya about today, just so you know. This will be what I use to get you to clean your room, total shame.

No, I cant do that.

I love you...

Yesterday was extremely hard. Morning sickness is kicking my butt. Actually, I just got a whiff of freshly cut grass, which at one point I loved, and now I'm about to vomit.

I'm glad, though, its a great sign to puke. I'm flooded with hormones this week. Most women are getting crabby, I think I'm just getting more nauseated by the minute. It's ok, though, I keep telling myself, it will pass in a few weeks.

Wow, you are growing big. Thanks for being here. I'm scared to death. I love you, baby.

7 Weeks!

You now have knees and are going to begin work on your toes this week. :)

Yeah for legs!!

This week has been very busy. We've had in-service all week and I've been running around trying to get a room together, with Monday starting our first day of school. Oh, and then, remember, I'm going back as well this semester. Cross your little fingers, even if they are still webbed together, that we make it through with flying colors. :)

We went to the dr. and he says we're between 6 abd 8 weeks which puts a good 7 weeks. :) Are you going to be big? Are you going to be a girl? Your brothers, Austin and Jeremy, informed me yesterday that I couldnt have girls, only boys, but I think your dad feels youre a girl. :) He says he makes pretty girls, which he does. :)

Your daddy has a daughter and he misses her. I hope one day you two can meet.

The weather has been beautiful. I layed in bed this morning, looking out the window, watching the wind blow through the trees. Dont worry, my little one, I'll show you all about the wind, the weather, and the brids. We actually have a bird, a rotten bird that does his own thing. :)

Well, I'm getting hungry. How about porkchops and green beans for breakfast??? I agree, delicious!!!!

I'm going back to school, my little one.

Thats right, babe. Momma is going back! I hope to be close to having my license by the time youre born, but who knows, all I truly do know is that I'm going til its finished. :)

I refuse to be poor. I refuse to raise you in a home that isnt living up to its potential, fiancially wise. I want to take you on vacations, and never have to worry about paying bills, or a house payment, or cars, or anything.

I dont need/want to be rich, I just want to provide a healthy and happy home for my children. And, money needs always stresses me out so I'll finish my Master's, make some more money, and then I'll stress over something else. :)

I love you! Two more days until we see the dr. :)

Oh, my baby, my baby!

I awoke this morning around 1:30 a.m. to throw up. Yep, yep, and then it hit me again this morning and then also again once I got to work. *whew* My little baby, I am, indeed, pregnant with you!

Thursday is our first dr. appointment. I hope I get to see you on an ultrasound, but if not, thats ok, I know youre there and growing.

I love you...

6 Weeks!

Closed for business.
An important milestone occurs this week: The neural tube, which began to form last week, starts to close over what will become your baby's spinal cord.

Face forward.
Although the embryo still looks somewhat like a tiny tadpole, folds of tissue are developing at the top, and these will eventually become your little one's chin, cheeks, and jaw. The areas that will be the eyes and nose have started to project as bumps, and the inner-ear structure is pushing inward.

Picking up the beat.
The heart tube, which formed last week, continues its development as it gradually grows into four primitive chambers and starts to beat like a tiny drum.

Other major organs, such as the kidneys and liver, are also beginning to take shape. The lungs each exist as a single tube, and they're starting to form into pouch-like structures; they've got lots of blossoming to do before they're ready for air.

Measuring up. Your little one keeps growing bigger, now measuring about 0.1 inch, or 2.5 millimeters.

Layers of Meaning

Though it still resembles a blob, the embryo has already divided into tissue layers. Most organ systems are starting to develop, too.

Conditions with a cause.
The changes your body undergoes in early pregnancy, though exciting, can be challenging at times. Remember that every symptom is serving a purpose. Your breasts may be tingling or tender because of increased blood flow; your body is already hard at work getting them ready for breastfeeding. Be sure to wear a supportive bra, even at night if it helps.

You may also experience constipation because of an increase in the hormone progesterone, which slows down the digestive tract. To deal with this problem, exercise regularly and eat a balanced diet, including lots of high-fiber foods such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. And increase your water intake: Shoot for at least eight glasses a day.

Losing your lunch? About 70 percent of pregnant women experience some morning sickness, with the first trimester being the worst. Nausea is triggered by hCG, the pregnancy hormone that's secreted right after implantation. There are measures you can take to quell queasiness. Click here for suggestions on relieving your symptoms.

From the experts. "The hormone that's causing your morning sickness can also be responsible for headaches," notes Elaine Zwelling, R.N., Ph.D. "Headaches during pregnancy can also be triggered by fatigue, tension, hunger, and physical or emotional stress." Ok, baby, so, whats goin' on in there? It seems you are doing a great deal of work this week and I can really tell clothes are tight. I went to put on a pair of short this morning and BAM it was way hard to get them buttoned. I measured my waist and I've gain 1.5 inches. What are you doing to me, little baby?!!!! :)

I think you're twins. :) I think two little girls. :)

I dont know, but I definilty feel as if I'm waddling all ready. I cant imagine how I'm gonna look in a few months. :)

I love you, my little precious, keep growing big, I'll just start buying new clothes.
